Hey there! We’re DJ and Lucretia—just two people who met on an online dating app, fell in love, and got engaged within a year. Six months later, we were married and stepping into a life of purpose together. From the beginning, we’ve been passionate about serving others, whether that was Lucretia running a nonprofit for youth or DJ stepping in to support however he could. In 2019, Lucretia felt God leading her to take a step away from the organization and write Before the Husband: A Seven-Day Devotional for Single Women Pursuing Purpose. That devotional sparked something bigger—coaching single women who desired marriage. But we quickly realized that men needed encouragement, too! So, DJ jumped in to bring a male perspective, and together we launched When Marriage and Purpose Collide—a podcast to help Christian singles date with intention and build strong relationships. From there, we created Intentional: Christian Singles Dating Experience—a space where singles get coaching and step into a virtual blind dating experience (yes, real dates!). We wanted to bridge the gap between faith, dating, and real-life connections. Outside of this, we love pouring into engaged and newly married couples through our local church and as Prepare-Enrich Certified pre-marriage coaches. Our heart is to help singles date with clarity and confidence while also equipping couples for a strong, healthy marriage. Together we created the Communication Game Changer: Check-In Cheat Sheet. And when we're not coaching or podcasting, we’re creating! Lucretia speaks to first-generation college students and helps them navigate life’s transitions, while DJ has built a growing TikTok community as a CapCut editor—teaching others how to create engaging content through live tutorials. At the end of the day, we’re just a married couple who loves God, loves people, and wants to see singles thrive in their journey toward marriage. We’d love to connect with you!
